Our Advocate

An advocate is someone who represents you and intercedes on your behalf before the authorities, such as a lawyer standing in front of a judge. Likewise, God who is the ultimate Judge of all creation established the role of an advocate to represent people who have sinned before God. When God used Moses to lead the Children of Israel out of the Egyptian captivity, God instructed Moses to construct the Tabernacle and establish the Priesthood to represent the people before God.  Jesus became our Spiritual High Priest who intercedes on our behalf.
