Our Identity In Christ

Jul 6, 2025    Nathan Geesey

In the Book of James we find that the brother of Jesus was very concerned about those who have place their faith and commitment in the Lord losing their identity in Christ due to greed or hanging on to possessions. James is telling us that if you are rich or poor, you must not replace your identity in Christ for the things of the world.

To stand strong in the Lord, to receive His daily blessing in life, we must learn to be content with what we have.  Throughout life there are, and will be, times of financial success and loss, but Jesus is the same today, tomorrow, and forever.

It is our Identity in Christ that gives us the hope, strength, and determination to do what God has called us to do.
