Seeking God’s Will

Aug 31, 2025    Nathan Geesey

In life we often find ourselves in a tug-of-war between what we want and what the Lord wants us to do. James addresses this tug-of-war in chapter 4. He draws our attention to the fact that we can get so busy living life, or doing nothing, we do not take time to ask the Lord what He wants us to do for God’s Kingdom.

How do you find, or know, the Lord’s will? First establish a relationship though prayer and reading the Bible. Get to know the Lord on a personal basis by talking with Him and listening to the Holy Spirit.  Your relationship will grow into one of Trust.

As you read the Bible, you will discover values, and the character, the Lord expects his followers to adopt in their lives. Reading God’s words initiates a spiritual transformation in our lives as we yield to the Holy Spirit.
