God’s Plan Continues Through Moses and the Israelites

Long before Isaac was born, God revealed to Abraham a prophecy that would unfold across generations:

“Know for certain that for four hundred years your descendants will be strangers in a land not their own… but afterward they will come out with great possessions.”

This message seemed distant and impossible — yet every detail of history moved toward its fulfillment.

183 years later, a 17-year-old named Joseph dreamed that he would one day rule. Twenty-three years after those dreams, Jacob’s family entered Egypt — the very land God had foretold. Egypt became both a refuge and a crucible. Over four centuries, God transformed a family into a nation.

When bondage became unbearable, God raised up Moses — a man shaped by failure, humbled by forty years in the wilderness, and called to do what seemed impossible. Through slavery, waiting, and divine calling, God proved that His promises never fail — even when His timing feels unreasonable.

This sermon reminds us that God’s plans may take generations, but His faithfulness never wavers.

It challenges us to trust His call — even when it seems uncertain, inconvenient, or beyond our ability to understand.
